About the recipe

We made a different sandwich with Kerkini Buffalo Soutzoukakia, which with their distinct flavor and unique recipe create a result that will excite you!!

Materials:

  • 1 package of Boras buffalo soutzoukia

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • 1 tsp tomato paste

  • salt, pepper, oregano

  • 1 large ripe tomato

  • 1 tsp. sugar

Execution:

Preparation for 2 sandwiches:

  1. Bake 4 Boras soutzoukia with Buffalo meat in the oven for about 15 minutes on the grill. In a frying pan, add 1 tbsp olive oil and after it has heated a little, add a clove of melted garlic, then 1 kg of tomato paste. Mix over medium heat, add a little water, salt, pepper and oregano and let the sauce thicken.

  2. Add a fresh, ripe, small tomato, chopped, a pinch of sugar and boil until the sauce absorbs all its liquid. Add our soutzoukia and let them remain in the sauce for about an hour off the heat and covered with a lid, after first piercing them with a fork on all sides and cutting them in half.

 

We make the sandwich:

  1. Choose a baguette and cut it, removing the edges and then cut it in half to make 2 sandwiches. Cut it in half and open the buns well.

  2. On one side, place 1 slice of yellow mozzarella and bake in the oven for 5 minutes until the cheese melts. With a spoon, place the sauce on the side without cheese and 2 soutzoukia cut in half.


Add a little more sauce on top, a little freshly ground pepper and some fresh oregano and serve...
