About the recipe

The favorite recipe of young and old becomes special with buffalo burgers that give it a unique flavor since they are hand-kneaded with Greek buffalo minced meat from Kerkini and fresh herbs and spices...

Materials:

  • 2 packages of Boras Buffalo Burgers (8 burgers)

  • 4 potatoes

  • 1 large onion

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 100g fresh butter

  • 2 tbsp honey mustard

  • 1/2 glass of white wine

  • juice of 1/2 lemon or orange

  • thyme, nutmeg

  • salt, pepper

Execution:

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into wedges. In a large frying pan, add the olive oil and add the potatoes, a little at a time, and sauté them on all sides over medium heat.

  2. In the same pan, once we are done with the potatoes, add the chopped onion and sauté until caramelized. Add the chopped garlic, thyme and nutmeg and sauté, stirring well.

  3. Add the honey mustard to the glass of wine and mix well with a fork until a mixture is formed.

  4. Add the wine and mustard to the pan and stir until the alcohol evaporates with a wooden spatula.

  5. Finally, add the butter and stir until our sauce "sets" over low heat.

  6. In a baking dish, add the buffalo burgers and the potatoes. Pour over the sauce, add a little thyme and season well with salt and pepper.

  7. In a preheated oven, bake our food, covered with aluminum foil, for approximately 20 minutes at 180 degrees.

  8. Then open the aluminum foil and add the lemon juice (or orange juice) and bake at 180 degrees for another 15-20 minutes, stirring the potatoes until golden brown on all sides.


Serve with a little freshly chopped thyme.
